LARCAN, a member of the LeBLANC Group, designs and manufactures analog and digital
transmitters for the Broadcast industry. LARCAN pioneered high-power solid-state VHF
transmitter technology and is a recognized leader in this field world wide. In 1993,
LARCAN supplied the VHF solid-state transmitter for ACATS "air" tests in
Charlotte, North Carolina. And later, in 1997, LARCAN assisted KOMO-HD in transmitting the
first HDTV signal west of the Mississippi.
Designs and manufactures low power VHF TV transmitters and Solid State UHF TV transmitters
ranging from 10 watt to 4 kilowatts; high power IOT transmitters in all power ranges; and
Solid State FM transmitters ranging from 1 watt to 4 kilowatts.
